Prejudices against minorities are deeply rooted in our culture, but we are gradually learning to overcome them. The key to breaking them down is mutual understanding, building connections, and learning about other cultures. Our society can thrive thanks to the diversity brought by people from national minorities living in Slovakia. The goal of the Minority Report series is to show, through personal stories, how cultures enrich one another, how we can benefit from their presence and contributions — and to remind us that this has always been the case throughout history. Slovakia is a country full of diversity, where every fifth inhabitant belongs to a national minority. This diversity is our strength and our inspiration.
